Pre-Listing Inspections:
These inspections are for agents and sellers and are intended to provide information about a property’s defects so that they can be dealt with before the property is viewed by potential buyers. You want your home to be at its best before you put it on the market so that it sells quickly!
Annual Warranty Inspections:
It is important to conduct an inspection on new homes coming to the end of their one-year warranty to uncover defects that should be addressed before your warranty expires.
New Construction Phase Inspections:
During construction, I review structures, components, and systems of a home or business that will be inaccessible after the structure is completed at key points during their construction. Radon Testing:
Radon testing is vital if you want to protect yourself and your family from exposure to radon, an invisible cancer-causing gas that cannot be detected via smell or taste. This test indicates the level of radon in your home and will let you know whether mitigation measures are necessary.
Mold Testing:
Contact me to take samples from a home or business, which will be sent to a lab to be tested for the presence of harmful varieties of mold. The results will be available within a few days.
Winterization:
Winterization involves ensuring that a home can endure a winter freeze. From bursting water pipes to heat loss from undetected openings, failing to winterize your home is potentially damaging. I understand the nuances of a winterized home and am fully prepared for this type of inspection.
Thermal Imaging:
Also known as Infrared Thermography (IRT), this inspection is achieved using an infrared camera and allows me to show clients thermographic images that can reveal defects such as water leaks, missing insulation, and more, that cannot be detected by the naked eye alone.
